Good evening friends...
As promised in my last post, I am sharing photos of my little purchases from browsing antique shops during my birthday getaway to a country village. Together they totally reveal my Anglophile side!!! I bought an Alfred Meakin coronation plate and a vintage tea towel. The tea pot was a birthday present and fitted my obsession perfectly (except I don't drink tea LOL).
In keeping with my purchases I couldn't resist stitching on my "London" sampler. You can see my before shot here. I happily stitched the "N" in the top left corner.
My Anglophile obsession is so crazy I need to purchase one of these!
Thanks for wandering through my streets of London...

Stitching on my London sampler...
Tonight I stitched the London Underground symbol onto my cross stitch sampler. It looks fabulous above the Beefeaters. If you missed my last post on this sampler click here. I love cross stitch designs that are made up on small pictures. They are so satisfying to embroider.
I found the most delightful vintage London tray at a market on the weekend. I wasn't passing it up for a cheap $7!
Have you done any stitching today?

London Stitchery update...
These two cute Beefeaters have been created over the last two nights. Sure one had to be frogged and moved across a little but no Beefeaters were harmed in the process.
My previous post about this London cross stitch is here. I hope you will agree but the stitchery looks so much better with them! They give it life.
I hope you found some stitching time today.
