The new school year has started this week which means a week of new starts and lots of driving around again. My daughter is in Year 10 and my eldest son in Year 8. Luckily I still have a little one or I might be feeling grieved they are getting so old! My Tom (3yo) doesn't go to school until next year which keeps me feeling young. So after a busy week with the school run and my work, I have only had a snatch of cross stitching time left at the end of the day.
Nonetheless, I did Pirate Wednesday with Justine which meant stitching on the Bothy Threads Cut Thru' Pirate Ship. I have stitched the legs and torso of another pirate.
I have started stitching the moat with a pretty variegated thread since I last posted about the Bothy Thread's Cut Thru' Castle.
I hope you gets lots of stitching time this week. My fingers are crossed I do. At least tonight is free.

Lovely progress Jan! Enjoy your stitching time :)
Love the pirates!!
Gorgeous colours, and nice going on both. Have a great weekend.
Each stitch is a little nearer a completed design... a lady said that to me this week when I was complaining I hadn't had enough crafting time recently.... yours are so vibrant and colourful, they must be a joy to work on.
Great progress, Jan! :D Hope you get lots of stitching time this weekend
Great progress on both pieces Jan. I so love the colors in these.

Haha...I know what you mean about them getting old! I don't know if your year's 8 and 10 are the same as ours or not but that's where my two are now (14 and 12).
It only seems like 5 minutes since the oldest was starting nursery (3).
I am loving your pirate ship. I am virtually stitching through yours as I really can't justify another new start!
Actually I do know full well that your oldest 2 are the same age as mine so ignore that last comment...I swear I am going doolally!
I really love this piece!!! It is looking so fantastic! And I hear you on the kids getting bigger...so glad you have the little guy still at home! Both of mine will be at school next year but with my youngest still with me I feel a bit of comfort! Happy weekend to you! Nicole
Nice progress on your Cut Through pieces.
Great progress on your Cut Thrus Jan. You've inspired me to get NPH out tonight! I can't wait to get on to the variegated thread at the bottom - so pretty.
Great progress on both your Cut Thru' pieces, Jan! I'll add these pics to the SAL page!
