Jo from Serendipitous Stitching hosted a Valentine's Day Blog Hop. To be involved you had to stitch a Valentine's pieced project and post a photo. My photo was sent to another blog. I thought you might be keen to see the project I stitched so here it is.
I found the ombre hearts pattern on a sweet blog called Little Lovelies. I used the DMC threads 157, 161, 162 and 809. I love the simpleness of the design and the effect of the fabric wrapped embroidery hoop to frame it.
Happy stitching…

What a nice idea...I love the finish: my type of valentines!
I've been catching up on your last few posts ~ great stitches!
C'est bien beau Marie-Claire
Cute finish, the little hearts are sweet and the fabric wrap hoop is a nice way to display them. Enjoyed seeing your earlier update on your two cut-through wips, fun projects both of them.

Cute finish, the wrapped hoop is very effective
That is lovely and it proves that hearts don't have to be red/pink!
